Director of Engineering Operation
The Director of Engineering Operation is responsible for the oversight of engineering operations, including project management, equipment, administration and support.
This position reports to the Vice President of Engineering.
Formalize and manage the engineering processes in a start-up environment, especially the software development life cycle phases such as requirements specification, design verification, QA, documentation, beta, etc.
Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with marketing and sales teams.
Advocate engineering best practices to ensure agile, high code quality, product reliability, scalability, security, and serviceability.
Participate in the performance reviews of all engineering team leaders and key personnel related to their compensation matters.
Proactively identify issues, and resolve risks.
Manage beta sites for our products before the official launch.
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
Experience in the engineering development cycle for software B2B products.
At least 3 years hands-on experience with software engineering in a research and development organization.
Knowledge of blockchain and/or artificial intelligence technology is desired.
High proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Articulate thoughts and approach well. Detail-oriented.
Presentable to the public. Public speaking skills.
